We started our project mid pandemic - We had heard horror stories about a few other companies that had issues with their subs that delayed projects for months on end. I began looking for a company that had in house staff so that we would hopefully not experience this same issue. While they have most employees in house, there are a few subs that they use but the delay was minimal.
Kevin designed our pool and kept it clean and simple with lots of green - exactly what I wanted. He is amazing and never got annoyed at all of the back and forth on our tweaks and different design options. Once we decided what we wanted to do, Bart and his team went to work.
We've had construction crews in our yard before and I was expecting to come home to a trash pit every day. Their crew cleaned up EVERY SINGLE DAY! Trash was bagged and piled, and once the travertine patio was installed they even hosed it down every day. This may not seem like a big deal, but for me it was. Our project took close to 9 months and if I had to stare at a trash filled backyard for that long I would've lost it!
There were a few hiccups along the way but what I loved about the entire staff at Unique was that they were always responsive and respectful. Building anything is stressful and building during a time when there's issues with staffing, supplies, and inflation is even worse. Kevin and Bart helped us to navigate all of this with the least amount of insanity possible. We would definitely recommend and we would definitely use them again.

We had a complete backyard overhaul on a budget … we started in June 2020 … Joe Garcia listened to our ideas and he came up with the most beautifully designed pool and landscaping that, now almost 8 months later, delights us in ways we never thought possible.
We signed our contract under the COVID wire and while there were delays to get started, from dig to fill was a short wait. Our project manager Cody responded to all our inquiries and their online project management portal is outstanding and kept us informed on every step of the process.
We’ve now added our own touches to the great foundation of pool and landscape design by Griffin and it’s amazing that we have our own resort in our backyard!

Unique Landscapes did a great job remodeling our pool and entire back yard patio space that was 19 years old and in need of a renovation. The professional team converted our pool from plaster to pebble, covered our old cool decking with beautiful travertine tile, rebuilt our pool fountain and our outdoor BBQ kitchen area, and converted an old fireplace into a more functional fire pit. Our project lead, Bart, did a great job managing the different trades as they completed different parts of the project and was very easy to communicate with. We even made some on-the-fly changes as things progressed with the project and Bart quickly got the team to adjust to our desired change. The Unique team was also great at fixing things we weren’t completely satisfied with, such as adjusting deck tiles that we wanted better aligned. The entire project looks amazing and truly transformed our back yard into a fresh and clean new look. Also, the design and administrative staff were great to work with and were very customer-service focused. We’d recommend Unique Landscapes to anyone doing a pool and backyard update renovation!
